It prompted me to think a little more about the relationship between children, parents and the community (whether it be the whole community or the Christian community).

If you live in the inner suburbs of a city with little kids you will find yourself asking why you don’t move to the suburbs or the country to raise your kids. Well Tim Keller concedes that the city is more expensive and more logistically complicated on the ‘front nine’, but then goes on to give 8 advantages to raising your kids in the city as opposed to the suburbs.
A good friend commented the other day that he liked what we had been posting, but he felt he needed a challenge. Well I certainly hope to provide him plenty of challenges in the coming months. In this series the challenge is to believe, see, feel and then act on the truth that children are a blessing.
